How do we use your data?

  • Your personal information is used in our recruiting process to determine if you are a good fit to participate in our online and/or in-person projects.
  • Subsets of your demographic information is used to filter, aggregate and organize our final reports to our clients.
  • Our clients do not have access to your personally identifiable information.
  • We care about you and want you to trust us with this information. You are our greatest asset and we won't break that trust.

Who has your data?

  • Ideas To Go captures, manages and maintains all data collected through its proprietary internally-designed information systems.
  • Ideas to go does not use any 3rd party data processors and will not share your personal information with any third parties.
  • We do not use any advertising services. You will not be served with any ads and we are not reporting any of your usage of our products and services to any advertisers.

How can I remove myself from your system and how does that affect my data?

  • You can request to be removed from our system. We will mark your account as "forgotten", remove your email address, username, phone number, and address. Other demographic data will stay because it is needed to maintain data integrity within our reports, but it will no longer be associated with you. This is a non-recoverable action which means that if you wish to rejoin the panel, you will need to create a new account because we will have no way to identify which account was previously yours.

Analytics Data

  • We use Google Analytics to analyze traffic to our website so we can provide you with a better experience. Google Analytics uses cookies and stores some information such as IP address and a unique User-ID that is not associated with any information that we collect and store. We have set our Google Analytics data retention period to 26 months. Google automatically deletes any traffic analytics older than this date.

Security

  • We obey industry best-practices when it comes to securing, storing, managing and monitoring our panelists' data, or clients' data and our employees' data. We take this very seriously.
  • We will always let you know promptly if there is any security breach that may compromise your personal information.

Privacy and opt-out

  • As part of our panel you are expected to receive important communications from us. Should you wish to stop receiving emails and text messages just let us know at support@ideastogo.com and you will be removed from the panel.
  • If any part of this privacy policy changes you will receive a notification.
